Exciting News!

Our classmate, Chris Storbeck, has just completed recording his 3rd music CD! Chris thought it would be of special interest to our WHS class since several of the original songs refer to his experiences growing up in Kansas. Entitled, “Lingering Light”, it has been released for streaming. It can be found on Spotify, Apple Music/iTunes and Pandora. It’s possible it may be found on other streaming sites as well.

The CD copies will be available in a couple of weeks. Distribution in Winfield will be handled by our classmate, Chris Finney. If you’re interested in a copy of the CD, message Chris Storbeck via the class website or his home e-mail: cstorbeck.utah@gmail.com.

WHS 1972 Woman's Class Ring Found

The ring was found many years ago in the pecan grove in Winfield. Family of the man who found it are trying to locate the ownerr of the ring. Initials on the inside of the ring are "DRC". Class members whose first and last name initials match the DC, were identified. Diana Cline's middle initial was not R. The other possibility is Deana Carter, for whom we have no contact information. If anyone knows Deana and can get in contact with her, please message me. I have the phone number for the family member who has the ring. Thanks - Kathy Biddle Kershner

Hey, everyone! The class ring mystery has been solved. It belongs to Deana Carter (now Evans). The ring has been mailed to her by the kind person that found it.
