Obituary for Rochelle Ann Westerhaus

PRATT Rochelle (McCoy) Westerhaus ,66, passed away August 21, 2020 at her home with her family by her side, in Pratt, KS. She was born April 4, 1954 to Pualine (Charton) and Ovan Fred McCoy in Wellington, KS. 

Rochelle married Stephen Westerhaus in Pratt, KS January 31,1981 . They were married for 39 years. 

Rochelle attended Winfield High School and graduated 1972. She received her Bachelors degree from Friends University. She retired from Pratt Public Library as the director. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pratt. She enjoyed Reading and Yard Work. 

She is survived by her husband Stephen of the home, Daughter, Elizabeth Westerhaus; Pratt, KS Brother, Gaylan (Pixie) McCoy of Winfield, KS; and a grandson, Jeremiah Westerhaus; of Pratt. 

Rochelle is preceded in death by her Father, Ovan Fred McCoy; Mother, Pauline (Charton) McCoy. 

Rosary will be 7:00 pm Sunday, at Larrison Mortuary Pratt. Family request Masks to be worn. 

Mass of Christian burial will be 2:00 pm Monday August, 24, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Pratt, KS with Fr. Michael Klag as Celebrant. 

Family request mask to be worn at the service. cremation has taken place. 

Inurnment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
